Job Description
Our client is Ireland's leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy
Preparation of soil and water chapters for EIAR and ER.
Assist in site works including - groundwater & surface water, soil sampling etc.
Tabulate and screen analytical tables for groundwater, surface water and soils.
Draft compliance reports and technical letters for issue for review.
Assist line manager and project managers on projects, carrying out activities such as
data review, research, GIS work etc.
Team player- assists other members of the team on different tasks as required.
Noise, dust and PM10 monitoring (availability day-evening-night).
Engaging with external subcontractors if required.
Communication with clients and attending project meetings if required.
Travel outside Dublin and/or overnight stays to perform site works if required.
Requirements
Relevant third level Degree (Level 8 or higher) - ecology, environmental science / environmental engineering or similar
2+ years Post qualification experience, most of which will have been gained within a planning or environmental consultancy area
Experience in site inspections, monitoring (i.e., groundwater, surface water) and/or environmental auditing
Experience in planning applications
Familiarity with Irish and EU planning and EIA legislation and processes.
technicial report writing such as AA, EcIA and EIAR
understanding of environmental science principles
PMicrosoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint etc.)
Full clean driving licence
Eligible to work in Ireland
Desired experience:
MSc degree in relevant field
Experience in an environmental consultancy firm.
