Stock Controller

Job Opportunity: Stock Controller Location: Longford Salary: €30,000 - €40,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to take ownership of inventory control and stores operations on site.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, who is comfortable working independently while also guiding and supporting others when needed.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee stock control processes, including cycle counts and stocktakes Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores Track and expedite orders with suppliers Handle returns and repairs Ensure agreed site performance metrics are met Respond to site and customer-specific requests in line with contracts Liaise with technicians and engineers to resolve queries Complete administrative and system-based tasks accurately Other ad hoc duties as required Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management (minimum 2 years) Background in stock control with exposure to leading or supporting a small team an advantage Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.) desirable Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach Knowledge of engineering parts would be beneficial Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Ireland Ability to reliably commute to Longford or plan to relocate before starting Benefits: Company pension Bike-to-work scheme On-site parking Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Apply today with your updated CV.
