The Opportunity:
Our Reporting Product Engineering team is at the heart of how Workhuman helps our customers build world-class cultures centred around recognition, celebration, and conversations.
The team manages core functionality for the business and is dedicated to designing and delivering innovative solutions while maintaining and modernizing legacy systems that are crucial for keeping the business running.
We have an established team taking on exciting challenges, using analytics and reporting to drive the impact of recognition and it’s use in the businesses of our clients.
You will have the autonomy to help design, build and deploy this product, which will serve our enterprise customer base.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Reporting solutions.

Tech stack: Python, Flask, RESTful webservices, AWS, QuickSight, Terraform, API, Postgres, Redshift, Jenkins, Sonar, Git, Docker/Containerization, JS and React based frameworks, Typescript.
**This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week onsite in our Dublin office**

The skills you will bring:
Ideally, 6+ years of back-end development experience.
You have experience developing web-based applications at the enterprise level
Problem solving is a strength of yours.
You bring the ability to interpret data and business strategy, understanding constraints and trade-offs.
You have experience in mentoring other team members about best practices and fostering consistent coding styles and guidelines
Experience in Python programming, including API design and development.
Experience with AWS and Cloud-first applications is a plus.
Experience with React or other Front-end frameworks is advantageous.
Achievements:
You have led system level designs that serve as definitive examples for other engineers (transferred from the skills you will bring)
You have proven to be capable in delivering quality solutions in a fast-moving business environment
You have collaborated openly on shared items of work and communicated well in a team-oriented environment across locations.
You have demonstrated a growth mindset with a continuous focus on improving yourself and the way work gets done within your sphere of influence.
Must have exposure to data engineering teams and data-driven applications.
