Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of 6 finance professionals, providing strategic management and aligning team efforts to deliver impactful financial analysis and insights for the DCPD Organization
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with various teams to maximize financial returns, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations
Manage EMEA inputs to corporate planning processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables with AWS CEO/CFO level visibility
Develop long-term financial models and strategic planning documents that support business decision-making and drive organizational growth
Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automate manual or error-prone processes, establishing scalable mechanisms for process improvement across the finance function
A day in the life
You'll lead your team in providing business partnering support across EMEA, reviewing their financial analyses and offering guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.
Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams, manage EMEA inputs to corporate planning processes, and work on optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

This team of 6 finance builders supports the DCPD Organization within the broader EMEA DCF team.
We focus on business partnering, strategic decision support, business case analysis, and ongoing optimization for a high-growth organization.
Our analyses and recommendations frequently receive AWS CEO/CFO level visibility, directly influencing strategic decision-making across the business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience directly managing and leading a team of 10+ members
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience recruiting, hiring and developing talent
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience in mentoring junior finance or business team members
- Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
