Job Description
We are hiring a Head of Pricing Applications for our IT Underwriting Non-Life Unit, part of Group IT and responsible for underwriting applications including Pricing & Modeling, Capacity & Exposure Management, and Portfolio Management & Optimization.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of software applications—from budgeting and planning to deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
 - Define project scope, workload, and timelines in collaboration with business experts.
 - Ensure applications align with business goals and deliver value to users.
 
- Act as a bridge between IT teams and business units.
 - Coordinate with IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
 
- Analyze system flows, data usage, and business processes to define application requirements.
 - Lead development efforts and ensure technical feasibility and scalability.
 
- Manage IT-side testing and support users during acceptance phases.
 
Qualifications
Your bring at least 5 years of experience in similar role in the insurance or reinsurance business (exposure to pricing and actuarial methods is a plus).
You hold a university degree or equivalent in Computer Science and bring along the following skillset and experience:
- Application Lifecycle Management, familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments.
 - System Design & Architecture, understanding software architecture and design principles.
 - Programming & Database Proficiency, knowledge of .NET (C#), Angular, SQL Server, and performance tuning.
 - Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and manage evolving requirements.
 - Project Management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
 - Portfolio & Resource Management, prioritizing initiatives, building roadmaps, and allocating resources effectively.
 
- Communication & Collaboration, engaging with business experts, developers, and stakeholders to align goals and expectations
 - Team Leadership, building effective teams.
 - User-Centric Mindset, understanding user needs and ensuring applications deliver value and usability.
 - Adaptability & Innovation, staying current with emerging technologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
 - High motivation and capable of working in a challenging international environment in across location teams.
