We are looking for a motivated IAM Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex issues, thrives under pressure, and is passionate about operational excellence.
You will play a key role in managing IAM incidents, supporting audits, and ensuring reliability of IAM services, while continuously learning and adapting to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor, triage, and resolve Active Directory/Entra-related incidents and services requests within defined SLAs.
Lead or participate in problem management and root cause analysis for recurring or major Active Directory/Entra-related issues.
Support access certificate, SOX controls, and audit evidence collection for compliance reporting.
Participate in and support on-call rotations for 24 x7 incident response, including weekends, and other off-hours as needed.
Assist in maintaining and improving Active Directory/Entra.
Apply security patches and updates across IAM systems per enterprise patching schedule and change control process.
Contribute to process documentation, playbooks, and operational runbooks for Active Directory/Entra support
Stay current with emerging IAM tools, technologies, and best practices.
Embrace a continuous learning mindset, contributing to platform modernization and automation efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience as an Active Directory/Entra ID Engineer or similar role with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Advance knowledge of security best practices for Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
Advanced knowledge with directory synchronization tools, such as Azure Active Directory/Entra ID Connect and Okta Active Directory integration.
Advanced understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, Active Directory Federation Services, and other centralized identity stores.
Working knowledge of IAM tools such as Okta, Entra, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar.
Exposure to authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
Experience with incident and problem management practices.
Familiarity with compliance framework (SOX, HIPPA, etc.) and audit processes.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Skills:
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with competing priorities; strong influencing skills to work with various service owners.
Provide advanced knowledge of Azure Active Directory/Entra ID capabilities such as Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Identity Manager, and Application Registrations.
Advanced understanding of Active Directory attributes, LDAP Queries, PowerShell Scripting, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Group Policy Object (GPO) analysis, configuration, and item-level targeting, active directory replication, Active Directory backup and restore, as well as certificate installation.
Advanced understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory/Azure Active Directory/Entra ID services.
Education:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications
