**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled infrastructure professional to join our team, with a strong focus on managing and supporting Linux operating systems and VMware/ESXi environments.
The role involves hands-on work with HPE hardware, managing HPE support cases, and utilizing a variety of internal tools to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.
Familiarity with Oracle Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machine (OLKVM) is considered a strong advantage.
The ideal candidate should also have a foundational understanding of networking, storage systems, backup solutions, and general infrastructure operations.
This role requires the ability to work across both legacy and modern technologies, maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic enterprise environment.
**What You'll Bring**
+ 5+ Years LINUX Support, VmWareESXi & OLKVM operating systems
+ Knowledge of Virtual Server builds (Linux/Oracle).
+ Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed, and weekends
+ Knowledge of HPe hardware (Rack server, Blades & Synergy)
+ Understanding of high availability system design concepts and configuration best practices
+ Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
+ Understanding process for Change, Incident & Problem Management
+ Handling On-calls and troubleshooting skills
+ Experience in Scripting is plus
+ Should come up with innovative ideas to automate the repeated work.
+ Helping Team with any technical issues
+ Active participation in community meetings

**Responsibilities**
**What You’ll Do**
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of our server and compute environments.
In this role, you will:
+ Monitor system performance and conduct trend analysis to ensure stability and efficiency
+ Manage Linux and VMware/ESXi systems, including supporting OLKVM migrations
+ Propose client configurations and implement technical solutions
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
+ Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with vendors for HPE hardware support
+ Maintain and update support documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility
+ Identify and drive opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability
+ Participate in knowledge sharing and help improve operational processes
+ Contribute innovative ideas to automate repetitive tasks and enhance productivity
