Job description

Summary of Essential Job Functions:


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee existing customer accounts and create new commercial opportunities across airlines, lessors, and MROs.
  • Attend meetings with key accounts and coordinate visit plans with Senior Commercial Team.
  • Proactively develop new customer relationships, including global buyers of commercial aircraft components.
  • Lead sales execution for owned and managed inventory, in line with revenue targets.
  • Identify and implement innovative ways to bring components to market and improve trading performance.
  • Represent the brand at EMEA aviation events, and further afield as required.
  • Liaise with internal trading and commercial teams to support deal analysis and board-level approvals.
  • Work with VP Global Business Development to identify appropriate KPIs for the component sales team.
  • Develop reporting tools illustrating sales and market trend data to present to leadership.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and operators to ensure smooth transactions and ongoing support
  • Implement transparent communication between Sales and Repairs teams, ensuring effective communication of purchase order lead times.
  • Assist in strategic acquisition campaigns and special projects as needed.
  • Provide input to LOT review meetings
  • The ideal candidate for the position should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an aviation or finance related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in used serviceable material sales and trading.
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with the Leadership team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good team player with proven mentorship skills.
  • Able to work effectively under deadlines and in a cooperative manner with coworkers.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
