We’re seeking experienced engineers passionate about GPU architecture, verification, and design.
This role is ideal for professionals eager to work at the forefront of graphics technology, ensuring the performance, power efficiency, and correctness of complex GPU cores.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with GPU design and architecture teams to understand high-level concepts and requirements.
- Develop detailed test and coverage plans based on architectural and micro-architectural specifications.
- Define and implement scalable, portable verification methodologies to support multiple environments.
- Build robust verification environments, including stimulus generators, checkers, assertions, trackers, and coverage monitors.
- Create and execute verification plans and testbenches for assigned functional domains.
- Drive verification execution: bring-up of designs and environments, regression testing, feature enablement, and debugging test failures.
- Track and report progress using key metrics such as bug counts and coverage statistics.
- Develop UVM-based tests for functional verification of GPU features.
- Debug and analyze new GPU features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Innovate and deploy new methodologies to enhance functional verification effectiveness.
Skills & Experience Desired
- 5+ years’ experience in ASIC design verification or related fields.
- Strong skills in test planning, scripting (Perl, Python), simulation, problem-solving, and debug.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, Verilog or VHDL, and C/C++.
- Experience with constrained-random and functional coverage development, as well as complex design debug.
- RTL design experience and/or strong SoC architecture background.
- Experience developing verification architectures for GPUs or similar domains.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce, ClearCase, GIT) and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
- Exposure to HW-SW co-verification, simulation, and formal verification techniques.
