Urgent! Lead Software Developer (React) Position in Belfast - MCS Group
MCS Group is working exclusively with a high-growth software company as they seek to appoint a lead software engineer to one of their growing development teams.
Well established in the local market and with an international presence, this business has multiple software products which helps their diverse client base to get more from their data.
We're looking for a lead software engineer with strong front-end development skills and an eye for UI design/UX for this exciting opportunity.
This is a brilliant chance for a Senior of Lead Front-End Developer who is keen to hone and develop their management skills, while ultimately still acting as an individual contributor.
Very much a role comprising the best of both worlds, you'll mentor and coach, have lots of autonomy and get the chance to work on the UI of multiple software products! More about the Role and the Person we're looking for...
The Lead Developer will work across multiple products - both new and existing - working primarily on their front end and user interfaces (the business is doing a lot of work in transitioning their existing products to a micro-front end architecture, and working on new products with a focus on AI!) You'll have considerable experience working with React, ideally having worked within a software product environment previously.
An awareness of user experience and design will be highly advantageous (you'll know your way around Figma and be happy to knock up an occasional prototype) You'll ideally have previous experience of mentoring or coaching less experienced software developers (you'll lead a small team of 4-5 while still being afforded support yourself from the senior leadership team).
You'll be passionate about software product and users (in this role you will directly contribute in the future to how UX and UI is done throughout the organisation) Salary Up to £70,000, with 5% pension, healthcare.
Hybrid working 1-2 days in Belfast city centre.
