We are currently looking for a contract KDB+ Developer to join growing team.

Responsibilities: While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include: Working with global clients ingesting large volumes of high frequency time series data Working with business users to define application requirements and deliver new functionality Involvement in all aspects of SDLC planning, creating, testing, and deploying software solutions Analyzing data and delivering concise insights to business users Working as part of a team to deliver solutions Assisting in training of junior developers Taking ownership of critical activities Developing a detailed understanding of how trading operations work within large scale financial organisations Skills & Requirements: Strong educational background Degree (Masters would be an advantage) 2+ Years using KBD+ to develop software Experience with Unix environments Demonstrated client experience and track record developing software solutions Good knowledge and experience with SDLC, including design, architecture, developing code, testing, and deployment Experience with tick architecture, large scale data capture and data analysis Ability to write clean and efficient code Experience in other languages like Java, C++ or Python Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint We are committed to being an Equal Opportunity Employer and want to build a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
